Gathers are the otherkin community's answer to conventions. In the Therian community they are often known as Howls. These are the events where otherkin get together in large groups, often on an annual or semiannual basis. At this time, most otherkin gathers take place in North America, and the vast majority have been in the United States. For smaller events, there are separate categories for mini-gathers and meetups.
