/otherkinchat is a TurtleSeed clan for otherkin to chat. It welcomes all kintypes, and questions from both otherkin and non-otherkin. It is hosted on TurtleSeed, a service similar to Twitter which allows people to make microblog posts of 140 characters or less. TurtleSeed is unique in that it is built from the ground up with an eye towards privacy, eliminating trolls, encouraging positivity, and even the ability to designate certain words as triggers. By default, turtleseed posts expire after 3 days, for privacy reasons, though one has the ability to change that setting on an individual level. Despite the short time that it has been open, /otherkinchat already has more than 328 members and is seeing significant activity compared to other groups within the otherkin community.
