Winged Ones is a message board with members originally stemming from the website 43 Things. It has been around since late 2009. It was originally created on Ning, but has since moved to Webs.
It features approximately 300 members who are united under the goal of physically growing wings, a goal which is deemed impossible by the majority of the otherkin and therian communities outside of this and a handful of other forums. It also promotes a belief in otherkin hunters, another belief widely rejected by the otherkin, therian, and real vampire communities.
The members of this forum are a range of otherkin and therians, not specifically avians, and often interact with a variety of other members.
