Coming Out of the Wardrobe is an expression used in the otherkin community for being open and honest about being otherkin. It is a reference to the wardrobe in C.S. Lewis's The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe which served as a gateway to Narnia. It is similar to the expression "coming out of the closet" used in the gay community, "coming out of the broom closet" used in the Wiccan community, or "coming out of the coffin" used in the vampire community.
