Coming Out of the Coffin is an expression used in the vampire community for being open and honest about ones vampirism. It is similar to the expression "coming out of the closet" used in the gay community, "coming out of the broom closet" used in the Wiccan community, or "coming out of the wardrobe" used in the otherkin community.
