One of the longest-running websites for dragon otherkin, Draconic has several resources for the community:
- Active forums, including "General Discussion", "Announcements, Intros, and Farewells", "Dragon Support Group", "Magic and Spirituality", "Member Visual Art", "Member Stories, Poetry, and Music", "Humour and Random Nonsense", and "Dragons in Popular Culture".
- The "Find a Dragon" search engine, which allows one to find new friends, mentors, or romantic interests. Keep in mind however that given the age of the site, there are thousands of accounts belonging to people who don't log in anymore!
- Without logging in, one can view KaniS's personal story as well as some dragon art and links, which are not necessarily up-to-date.
- The Draconic IRC channel.
In order to get an account, you must answer a few short questions about why you want to join the site and what dragons mean to you. There are no right or wrong answers to these questions, but applications that are filled with keyboard hash, copypasta, or complaints about how hard it is to write a few coherent sentences are denied. One does not have to be a dragon to get an account, however.
On the forums, there is a wide variety of age and experience. Some active members have been on the site for years, even dating back to the beginnings of the forums, while there is also a constant influx of new members and newly-awakened dragonkin. There is a large membership of people in their 20's or early 30's, as well as teenagers and people who are middle-aged or older.
