Theriomythic is a term coined to describe individuals who straddle the otherkin and therian communities, in that they identify as mythical animals such as unicorns, dragons, etc. It was originally coined on Therian Wilderness as theriomythos, then translated into Spanish as los theriomitos by Otherkin Hispano. It was re-translated from the Spanish into English as theriomythic, and in that form is gaining more widespread acceptance in both the otherkin and therian communities.
