Dai'ari is a placeholder name for one subgroup of Elenari from Sel'ar who were more of a cultural offshoot or subculture than a race unto themselves. Their name means roughly "Night Elves" and they maintained a nocturnal culture and shared a particular love of darkness, the night, the mysterious, and the hidden. In some ways it might be seen as an elven analogue of the Goth subculture.
