Brightmoon is a placeholder name for one of the remembered Elenari homeworlds. Those who remember it are not sure what the world was called while they lived there, but they have adopted this name to refer to it in the present. It is named for its huge, distinctive moon.

It is remembered as a fairly Earth-like world, though with some differences. The seasonal variations on BrightMoon are remembered as being more severe than on Earth. The sky is remembered as being blue, with a yellow sun, and the sunrises as bright orange and red with the sun appearing blood red. The sunsets are remembered as being brilliant blue and purple. Night is remembered as a perpetual twilight rather than true darkness, with the night sky being a sapphire color.
