Dan also connects to IRC networks to flood (repeating messages over and over) them and to boast about his attacks. Dan has also resorted to more dangerous methods, such as creating hoax pages about his victims accusing them of crimes, publishing real-life details online when he is able to determine them through whois information, and [[wikipedia:joe job|joe-jobbing]] email addresses. On at least one occasion, Dan utilized multiple accounts to flood a forum with hundreds of topics and replies, in an attempt to make cleanup difficult for site administrators.
