Pack

A pack is a social group of alterhumans. Packs often consist of therians and other animal-identified individuals most prevelantly, due to having originated from the therian community.^{[citation needed]} Packs come in many different forms and can involve internal relationships of different varieties and intensities, ranging from casual to familial.

Some packs may be named entities with hierarchical labels based on the scientific myth of wolf hierarchy. These types of packs may also have membership rules, joining rituals, and dedicated websites or social media spaces that host up-to-date information about the pack.

While packs can create fun and useful support systems, some have cautioned that packs run the risk of encouraging abusive behaviors and spreading misinformation among members. It is recommended that before joining a new pack, inspiring members should ensure that their level of commitment and expectations match the pre-existing norms of the group, so that there are no communication problems.
