=Otherkin Community History=
From a young age, Ōkami felt that she was "not human" on the inside. After watching the anime series Wolf's Rain at age twelve, she gained a fascination with wolves and as she read more about them and began to understand them, she began feeling as if she were "a wolf in a human body".


Ōkami first entered the online therian community through the now-defunct [[WereNet]]. She "didn't find werelist members to be the friendliest bunch" and ended up migrating to [[Werelist]] where she eventually became a docent staff member. In October of 2011, Ōkami founded the [[Wulf Howl]] otherkin community. She later founded [[Kinmunity]] in December of 2014, followed by [[Wolf Howl]] in 2020.

Naia Shiro Ōkami (born 1994) is a British Columbia wolf and red fox therianthrope. She is the founder and current administrator of Kinmunity.

Otherkin Community History

From a young age, Ōkami felt that she was "not human" on the inside. After watching the anime series Wolf's Rain at age twelve, she gained a fascination with wolves and as she read more about them and began to understand them, she began feeling as if she were "a wolf in a human body".

Ōkami first entered the online therian community through the now-defunct WereNet. She "didn't find werelist members to be the friendliest bunch" and ended up migrating to Werelist where she eventually became a docent staff member. In October of 2011, Ōkami founded the Wulf Howl otherkin community. She later founded Kinmunity in December of 2014, followed by Wolf Howl in 2020.
