''''Otherkin'''' was a mailing list for discussion of basic otherkin related topics. It was part of a set of three mailing lists created and run by Crisses, which also included NewKin and KinFrontiers. Each list was intended to be geared toward a certain level of discussion from basic through general to advanced. Eventually the Otherkin mailing list was moved to smartgroups, which shut down in 2006. Now only NewKin and KinFrontiers remain, with KinFrontiers doing double duty covering intermediate and advanced subjects.
