A ''''dream shift'''' is a term for when a therian dreams of being their theriotype. It may or may not include shapeshifting. Dream shifts can also be cameo shifts, involving an animal other than the dreamer's theriotype. As non-therians can and do have such dreams, the significance of this experience is debatable.
