The Centaurus Festival is a free annual 3-day online gathering for alterhumans with a focus on mythical and folkloric identities. This gathering is held on Discord on the first weekend in March (March 6th-8th, 2026), and offers "a full schedule of events for attendees to go wild over."

Features

This convention includes opening and closing ceremonies, a combination Artist Alley/Dealers Den, and featured charities and charity fundraising events. Centaurus Festival also has several annual convention traditions, including a watch party for Night on the Galactic Railroad and the non-recorded, staff-led panel, "Stories Around the (Digital) Campfire."

The convention has a variety of events each year hosted by its attendees, including lectures, interactive panels such as AMAs and group RPGs, zine readings, and more. Unlike other conventions, the Centaurus Festival also encourages attendees to submit unplanned events to the con schedule while the convention is already in-progress. Recorded events from the Centaurus Festival can be found on the convention's YouTube.
