Sympathetic vampirism is a condition in which a donor who has been fed on too frequently or too deeply may develop a need to feed vampirically in order to replenish themselves. This is most common in donors for Energy vampires. While this may mimic the fictional concept of turning, there is no fundamental change in the donor's nature and the condition will correct itself over time if the vampire abstains from feeding from them.
