Empowered Multiplicity is a term for multiples who reject the victim mentality common in some parts of the multiplicity community. They regard multiplicity as something positive for them, and not as a disorder, rejecting the traditional psychiatric approach to multiple personalities. Empowered multiples are, or at least strive to be, functional in their daily lives as multiples without needing to undergo integration.
