Starseed vampires are vampires who believe vampirism to be extra-terrestrial in origin. They believe that three beings, known as the Originals came to Earth from elsewhere and that all real vampires are descended from them. They believe that vampirism is a condition of the body and soul, and that they will continue a vampiric existence through subsequent incarnations. As such, they believe in a form of serial immortality similar to Setians. Starseed vampires feed mainly on energy, though they do incorporate blood drinking into their rituals in small quantities.
