Setians are vampires who believe vampirism is tied back to the Egyptian god Set. They believe that Set was a high priest of a temple who developed a ritual of death and rebirth which allowed the soul to achieve immortality. They believe that he performed this ritual along with 72 associates, to travel eternally as undying spirits via reincarnation. They believe vampirism was a side effect of this ritual. Setians generally abstain from drinking blood, feeding only energetically.

Setians in this sense are not connected with the Temple of Set founded by Michael Aquino.
