In order to provide maximum accessibility and instantanous access for most users, Kinmunity utilizes an automated risk assessment system that assigns a risk score to each registration. Legitimate users are generally able to register with no additional hurdles, but a few users might need to have their registration manually approved by a community manager. Users behind proxies, anonymous VPNs, and disposable email addresses will have their registrations outright rejected by this system.

Kinmunity is an online community and resource website for otherkin, fictionkin, therians, vampires, plural systems, the other individuals who have non-human identities. It replaced the now-defunct Wulf Howl in 2014. The site contains both resource and community sections.
