Astrara is a placeholder name for a remembered elven society and planet. Those who remember it are not sure what it was called while they lived there. Astrara has two suns, mountains, dark oceans and lakes, high technology ("magitech") and slightly less gravity than Earth. One of its prominent features is an extensive military, which was (and possibly still is) maintained partly through conscription.

In addition to being a circumbinary planet, Astrara may have also had at least two moons. It is suspected that one is green, while the other is blue.

Astrara was not destroyed by the Corruption and is known to be currently inhabited.
