The '''Otherkin Community Forums''' are a project of [[The Otherkin Community, Inc.]], a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of metaphysical sciences and dissemination of the Otherkin identity. The message boards include discussion of otherkin, metaphysics, and the sciences. It also maintains an IRC server.

On April 12, 2014, self-professed "proud pedophile", [[TheDarkEricDraven]] joined The Otherkin Community website under the name [[ApocolypseMaiden]]. He had previously joined this site on February 28, 2012, under the name TheDarkEricDraven, but was outed that same day as a self-professed pedophile and by July 15th, 2012 requested to be banned. Per The Otherkin Community's policy, his account was suspended at that time. Several members have protested his presence, but administrator (then moderator) [[Seraphyna]] was been adamant in shutting down such protests, including giving formal warnings to two users, [[Noise]] and [[Kakrikoran]], who were most vocal regarding it, and banning [[Jarandhel Dreamsinger]] for "offsite harassment" for reporting it on this wiki. Site-owner [[Clodaus]] chose to support that ban, and Draven's continued presence on the board, based on Seraphyna's recommendations.

== Downtime ==

The Otherkin Community went down in May, 2015. During this time, the site's php code displayed rather than executing when visiting it. The issue was fixed and the site became publicly accessible again in mid-August, 2015.

'''Motley's House of Kin''' is a web-based chat with two rooms: The Tavern and The Shadowy Corner. It was started in December 2010 by [[Motley]] to help satisfy the demand for a chat room for [[Otherkin Alliance]] users. Regular chats are held on Thursday and Friday nights, however the chat is open at all times. Users are expected to conform to all policies set by [[Motley]]. The chat was loosely affiliated with Otherkin Aliance until August 2012, when the affiliation was dropped and OKA created their own IRC channel.
